  1. ATTENTION STACKER 3.1 USERS
  2.  
  3. Microsoft DOS 6.2 Setup may not correctly recognize some Stacker drives.
  4. If you have trouble upgrading to MS-DOS 6.2, follow these steps.
  5.  
  6. Before upgrading to MS-DOS 6.2:
  7.  
  8. 1.  Completely exit Windows or any other shell.
  9.  
  10. 2.  At the DOS prompt, type STAC62 and press ENTER.
  11.  
  12. 3.  Set up MS-DOS 6.2 as usual.
  13.  
  14. After upgrading to MS-DOS 6.2:
  15.  
  16. 1.  After MS-DOS 6.2 restarts your computer, change to your Stacker directory
  17.     (probably C:\STACKER).
  18.  
  19. 2.  At the DOS prompt, type STACKER and press ENTER.
  20.  
  21.     Note the drive letter in brackets on the drive C: line.
  22.  
  23. 3.  Change to that drive by typing drive: (for example D:) and pressing ENTER.
  24.  
  25. 4.  Now, change to the DOS directory by typing CD DOS and pressing ENTER.
  26.  
  27. 5.  Type
  28.  
  29.     COPY C:\DOS\ATTRIB.EXE and press ENTER.
  30.  
  31.     Press Y to answer Yes to the overwrite prompt.
  32.  
  33. 6.  Type
  34.  
  35.     COPY C:\DOS\CHKDSK.EXE and press ENTER.
  36.  
  37.     Press Y to answer Yes to the overwrite prompt.
  38.  
  39. You can now use Stacker and MS-DOS 6.2.
